You are being asked to take part in a study for improving comfort and function with a non-medication pain education programs for patients with chronic pain. We hope to learn how this type of program may benefit patients when used as part of your current pain treatment plan.
This free program is being offered as part of a Doctor of Nursing Practice Project. The study team led by a Pain Management Nurse Practitioner is evaluating the benefit of a Pain Coping Skills Training program for patients with chronic pain. This program will consist of a weekly 1-hour class accessed over the internet.
Participants will be taught basic pain science and self-care pain control strategies. The program builds on weekly content.
Recruitment age range: 18 -99 years old
